Welcome to the ACE Mobile Living History Group website!

Please take a look around the various different pages, as we have plenty of information about who we are, what we do, where you can see us, and how to get involved.

We are a group of like-minded individuals, from all walks of life, who aim to entertain, inform, and educate the public about a little-known piece of Cold War military history - the British contingent of the Allied Command Europe Mobile Force (Land), or AMF (L) for short. We achieve this by displaying period equipment, clothing and vehicles at various events, throughout the year.

We travel around Britain, primarily in the North, attending Living History and Re-enactment events at different venues. We also support major military-related charities, such as the Royal British Legion, and Help for Heroes. Some of our members and equipment have even featured on television (Coronation Street’s “Gary’s Army Diaries”) and film.

WE CAN BE BOOKED - for most Shows, Displays and Events throughout the year! If you are interested in having the group appear at your special occasion, please get in touch. We may also be available for celebratory, corporate, or other charity events given advance notice. Please see our BOOK page for more details.
